I find it all unbelievable, but it’s the reality!

I have been listening to the news broadcasts and they've enlightened, if not discouraged, me. I had no idea that it was so bad for women in today’s world. I was aware of male dominance in the workplace and in society in general, but I had no idea it was as bad as it is. What I heard is disturbing to say the least. What I heard and saw about Al Franken when he was a comedian with SNL before he got into politics is horrible. It stinks!!! It’s predator-like. There’s Weinstein, Moore, Cosby, Trump, Tambor, Stallone, Louis C.K. ... The list goes on and I am not passing judgment on their innocence or guilt even if I heard the disgustingly sexest things Trump said on his campaign bus. There has been millions, if not trillions, of dollars spent for silence. Although we only hear about the rich and famous, it goes beyond them. Look at yourself and decide whether you need to improve or not.

I must have lived my life too insularly or perhaps, I’ve just refused to accept the obvious. I grew up with 4 sisters and maybe I grew up naively, but I was always taught to respect women – members of the opposite sex. We procreate and therefore, our species has both males and females. Both are required for our species to survive. One is not better than the other, only different. Let’s smarten up!!!

I can’t necessarily apologize on behalf of all males, but I can apologize on behalf of myself. I’m sincerely sorry for the sad state our society finds itself in. We need to be better!!!
