Embarrassing? I'd Say!!!

While Trump does his best to defend his government's use of tear gas at the Mexican border, Cindy McCain, daughter of John McCain and a staunch self-proclaimed Republican supporter, summed it up best. I have a question though. Trump in defense of his defenseless policy - irony intended - has said the tear gas used was "very safe". I did a little research into the gas and found out some interesting things about it. We all have a certain predisposition to CS gas (tear gas). It affects some people more than others. It is reported that there have been some cases where drill sergeants who have been repeatedly exposed to CS gas have had little or no reaction to it. So I have to ask, "What is a safe level?" A level at which its irritant properties don't exist thereby, making it ineffective. I don't know, but like most things with Trump, there is certainly a lot of obfuscation surrounding it. I am using the term obfuscation to be polite!

Back to Cindy McCain. Cindy Hyde-Smith, a GOP candidate for Mississippi's Senate race, has been photographed in Confederate army gear - rifle included - and has said she would be in the front row of a hanging is still 10 points ahead in the Senate race as I write this Tuesday night. I know it's Mississippi and I know Trump won the State by something like 18 points in 2016, but the racist overtones associated with Trump and the GOP have to go. Cindy McCain said it really simply and accurately, but best, "it's embarrassing!"
