Did the Democrats or Trump Prevail to End the Shutdown?

If you listen to Trump, he did. He’d almost have you believe he got what he wanted, but he didn’t – a far cry from it. He wants 5 or 6 billion dollars for a border wall or barrier or whatever – his request changed as he started to feel the heat. Nonetheless for someone who believes he is the best deal maker in the world, he failed miserably and Pelosi won the game!

It doesn’t take a genius to figure out why. Trump has latched onto an antiquated idea. He has said you need a wall or a physical barrier of some sort. That’s unbelievable! The walls that exist are riddled with tunnels. Most drugs come in to the U.S. not through the border between the U.S. and Mexico, but rather through other ports of entry like airports or ship yards. What is Trump talking about? I don’t know, but as he says he giving the democrats one last chance to come up with the money or he’s going to declare a national emergency.

We agree on something! There is a national emergency! He’s the President!
