It gets harder and harder. We have sexual misconduct allegations that have cost people their careers. That's a steep price to pay, but not if the allegations are true. Unfortunately, dishonesty seems to be pervasive the days. I heard a story where a woman went on a bad date and accused her date of sexual harassment. I don’t know what happened. I wasn’t there. I don’t know if the disgraced former leader of the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario, Patrick Brown, who was also accused of sexual misconduct is guilty or not. I did hear that he is trying to make a comeback and entering the race again. If he didn’t do it, I wish him well. There have been rumors that the allegations originated from Brown’s political opponents. Kevin Spacey blamed his sexual misconduct on his sexual orientation. I strongly disagree without any uncertainty that proper behavior changes because of sexual orientation. He did tell the truth though! And then, there’s Donald Trump who has been accused of sexual misconduct, even rape, by a lot of women (it’s getting difficult to count). He denies the allegations, but the proof against him does not support his claim of innocence.

It may be a lot to ask, but wouldn’t it be easier if truth and honesty motivated people and not what – Who knows what it is? Money? Fame? Power? Popularity? – seems to.
