Two Down and One to Go!

It’s very ironic that “crooked Hillary” and “drain the swamp” were and still are used by Trump and his supporters as a common theme of his when both his ex-personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, and his ex-campaign manager, Paul Manafort, face – to say the least – legal challenges.

Yesterday, Manafort was found guilty on 8 charges and in all probability, faces the rest of his life in jail unless Trump pardons him or on appeal, the charges are dropped. The former is more likely than the later. Also yesterday, Cohen cut a deal with prosecutors while pleading guilty to campaign violations. Cohen mentioned that Trump paid off Stormy Daniels and an ex-playmate in the deal. Cohen also implied Trump colluded with the Russians, however, Cohen's own credibility is suspect too.

No wonder Trump has not released his tax returns yet! I said before Trump was even elected that you get what you ask for. It is questionable how he has obtained his wealth, but by all indications so far, it has been obtained by not the most scrupulous means. There’s two down and one to go as they say in baseball. Go Mueller Go! The impeach o'meter has been red lining for some time. It’s about maxing out now! If there is any time to “train the swamp”, it's now! We can only hope it’s not too late! Trump has a lot of power – too much for him!!!
