True Colors

I think it was back in the Clinton presidency that an author, who named himself Anonymous, wrote a book called “Primary Colors”. I think it was in the Clinton era. I don’t remember.

Well, Trump has, without a doubt, shown his true colors now (unlike the book, true not primary). He didn’t win the popular vote, but once it was adjusted for the Electoral College, he did win the election. One source had Clinton winning the popular vote by about 2 or 3 percent, but it doesn’t matter. It shows that the country was – and still is – divided at around 50/50. That means that somewhere around 50 percent of the people were Trump supporters. I think they, as well as him, have a lot of explaining to do.

In an unprecedented move, the White House started flying its flag at full-staff beginning just after midnight the day after Senator John McCain past away. That’s for just over 24 hours it flew at half-staff in his honor. He hasn’t even been put in his final resting place. He deserves more!

That’s disrespectful! That’s awful! That’s horrible, but it does show you what Trump is all about. He’s obviously petty, but not only that, what he did is just plain RUDE!!! The president of the United States has made it alright to bully someone even when they are dead and we wonder where civility has gone! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!

I just heard on ABC's World News Tonight that the flag above the White House has been returned to half-staff. That's good! It's also consistent with what my blog about Trump said yesterday. Egomaniacs have no problem changing their position when it's in their own self-interest!
